At the start of my Junior year I thought it was about time I started to learn more of the technologically advanced tools. The main goal of this design lab was to figure out a way students could super charge their final design products. Starting off the class with going back to the basics of design lab was really refreshing. We went out and interviewed both a student and a teacher to see what would be the best way to allow students to further their design projects. After getting some feedback Ana and I worked with the application Autodesk Fusion 360 to create a laptop stand. It took us quite awhile to figure the application out but when we did we were able to create a beautiful stand. During the second week of this design lab the class took a field trip to the Autodesk headquarters. At their headquarters we were able to learn directly from professionals different tools and tricks on how to make our project the best it could be. We continued working on our laptop stand and exploring Autodesk Fusion 360. Although we weren't able to book time in the school's Design Realization Lab (DRG) during that intersession, Ana and I want produce our stand in the future. Later on I used the skills that I have learned during this Design Lab to create another project for a different class.
